UPDOSING A DIFFERENT DAY BECAUSE OF SNOWSTORM

There was a snowstorm last Thursday so I couldn't updose because we couldn't drive on the slippery roads.

We were running low on my dose so we had to updose on Monday instead. We didn't have enough of my dose to make it to my Thursday appointment so we did it on Monday (today).

Today I had to leave school early because on Monday the only available appointment they had was 3:15 and my school usually ends 3:10. My mom got at my school at 2:00 or so.

Today at my updose appointment, since it was a Monday, I got to see Dr. Selter!  I don't usually see him because he's in the other office on Thursdays but today yep I saw him because it was Monday and he was in the office because it wasn't Thursday!

Today my updose went from 1/14th a peanut to 1/11th of a peanut and I'm almost up to 'coltis' (oops my mom says it's called 'capsules'). There are two more appointments til coltis ;). I'm up to 25 mg or something (my mom says yes it is 25 mg).

But my grape koolaid that the peanut is mixed in went from 8 ml to 1 ml and I'm starting to taste the peanut and I don't like the taste!
This is me gobbling up the water because I didn't like the taste of the dose so I'm trying to wash it down.

When I passed my other food challenges (Nutella and pistachios) I didn't like the taste either but I got used to it and I think that's what is going to happen with peanuts.
This is my face after eating the pistachios
This is me at my pistachio food challenge in April not wanting
to eat the pistachios.

Now I just gobble up the pistachios and put them all in my mouth at once cuz I don't care about the taste- I don't mind. So I'm not really concerned about the taste of peanuts. I think I'm going to get used to them too.

I'm not going to updose this Thursday also because it is only three days until then and that's not enough time to stay on one dose, so we're gonna wait ten days to make it to the Thursday after that cuz we have to go back to our Thursday appointments because I can't keep missing an hour of school every Monday.

When I got there they checked my weight, they did the blood pressure thing, they did the pulsing thingie. They did the blowing thingie. They checked my temperature. And that was the beginning. From then, it was 20 minutes until I got to dose. TWENTY!!!! Usually we only wait about 3-4 minutes or 2-3 before the new dose.

Then we played games. We had the big new room. We did lots of stuff. We did lots of fun things. And we had a great time.

Blog again soon everybody. Thanks for viewing! Thanks for your support! Bye.

DOSING IN DISNEY AND MY LATEST UPDOSE

Guess what? My parents surprised me with a trip to Disney-world!
This is me on the plane cheering that we're going to Disneyworld
Disney is awesome but we needed to figure out how to work OIT into the schedule.

At the airport we checked if our suitcase is under 50 pounds. We were so lucky because our highest one was 49 and a half. So all of them went into the tummy of the plane. Then the next security we have to take off all of our stuff and put it through a machine. And I have no idea why. You hadded to put your dose through a machine cause the dose is liquid and you're not allowed to bring liquid on a plane! Luckily it went on the plane after they made sure it was okay.

Our airplane was Jet-blue and I have priority boarding cause of my allergy.
We were the first ones to board the plane
My mom wiped off my seat in case somebody ate peanuts on that seat last flight. Even though the people cleaned it we double clean it just in case. And the plane attendant walks around telling people not to eat peanuts and when she told our row I shouted, "I'm the one allergic to peanuts on this plane!"

When we got to Disney my brother and dad were shopping. They were there for more than two hours while mom was unpacking and I dosed then watched tv.
This is me watching tv after I dosed.
When she was done we got bored so we went outside to explore. Then we went near a pool and there were splashy things and we were getting wet. And when we went away from the pool we were still getting wet and we wondered and I saw water dropping all over from the sky. Then I told my mom IT'S POURING! It was soaking wet but we couldn't run to a house because I dosed and was still in the two hours and I'm not allowed to run. Walking in the rain was a lot of fun!
Trying to drink the rain
We got soaked in the rain because I couldn't run.

For the next day and the rest of vacation I had to switch my dosing schedule cause the next day would be the first day we'd be going to the park. Usually I dose 4:15 buuuut on vacation the doctor told us to dose approximately 7:20 in the morning.
This is when I dosed at 7:20 on vacation
We do it in the morning so we could run around in the parks most of the time without worrying about dosing or a reaction. After I dose in the morning I don't have to worry the rest of the day!

In the morning I would get up and eat cereal and dose. Usually in Disney we'd be in a hurry and running to the park but I dosed so I wasn't allowed to run. Almost the first hour after I dosed I was watching TV in the hotel while my family was getting ready to go to the park.

Half of the second hour we were driving to the park and the last half an hour I had to WALK in the park but after that I was allowed to speed up! I was excited every time my mom told me it's the two hour point!

While we were walking to the Dumbo ride we saw fake elephant Dumbo peanuts all over the ground! I didn't have to worry because they were fake.
This is me saying 'bleh' to the fake peanuts

Now I went on EVERY RIDE IN DISNEY WORLD! Because I am tall enough! And big! And strong! The new rides I went on were Rock and Roller coaster- loved it!
Space mountain- hated it!
Primeval Whirl- loved it the second to most in all of Disney World.
My favorite ride in Disney World is seven dwarfs.

In Epcot there's lots of countries and one big building to represent that country and there's a fireworks show. And there's a big ball that inside it there's a ride. The rides I liked the most in Epcot was the big ball ride
This is the big ball at night time
 and test track

and my favorite show is Disney on Broadway.
And one of my other favorite shows is the Frozen show- that was in Hollywood studios.

In Disney Springs first we went into a huge store and I saw a Chip and Dale peanut mug.
Then we went to a girauh eli store? (My mom says it's ghiradelli) I was hoping it would be safe,
This is me hoping that it would be safe
but it wasn't. Wah wah wah. My mom and dad promised that after OIT (after I graduate) they'll get me a milk shake from there next time we go back! In one of the parks, we went to a Dole Whip place and I had Dole Whip and it was so good.
That's me eating dole-whip
I was happy that it was safe for me. Woohoo!

One morning my mom felt my head and I was hot. We didn't have a thermometer with us and none of the stores was open because it was 7AM. We called the doctor about what to do and she told us to half dose that day. We bought a thermometer that night and the next morning I had 99.3 and I was able to dose regular. BUT that night I had 102.6. BUT. The morning after I had 97 something so I didn't have to down-dose again! And I stayed on the same dose ever since! Until today!

Today my up-dose day was up to 20 milligrams! It was in 8ML! Now I'm at 1/14th of a peanut!

Sorry I didn't blog for so long I was on vacation but now I will blog every time I have a chance when I UPDOSE!
