MONTHS IN MAINTENANCE

I'VE BEEN IN MAINTENANCE FOR TWO MONTHS!

Two months ago...

Graduation was two months ago and I had my peanuts graduation party.

As you noticed I finally was able to get my ice-cream cake! And I have been waiting for that day since day one!
Lots of people came to my party.
I also got lots of gifts even gift cards to ice-cream stores!

I have been to lots of ice-cream stores and most of them were when I was on summer vacation!
Rita's. I was actually eating all 3 of these!
Baskin Robbins- the vanilla flavor was actually right
next to the peanut butter flavors but I didn't care at all!

Ben & Jerry's

CUPS- I was able to taste and
                                                                    get whatever flavor I wanted!

On vacation I was nervous for some of the activities and yet the ones I was nervous to do ended up being the funnest ones.
Like zip-lining.
Jet-skiing.
Boogie-boarding.
I also went white water rafting and to Busch Gardens and a dolphin speed boat ride.

I think since the ones I was most scared to do ended up being the funnest that  means that I should be afraid of everything because it would mean as long as I try it I would like it the most. The things that you need courage for are what ends up being the funnest!
Same thing with OIT--- all the resting, all the driving, all the peanut eating (blech), the sort of scary times---- but it was all worth it because the REWARD:

FREEDOM!!!!

It seems that the scariest things you go through in life end up being the best things. You just have to find the courage and face your fear.

One of the things I went to on vacation (I just burped- maybe from dosing a little while ago- hee hee), is the Peanut shop in Williamsburg. Last time we were here I couldn't even go inside the store.

This is when I was 5
Jumping for joy at age 9 outside the store before going inside.

This time I went inside and there were all these disgusting peanuts inside. I didn't want to eat any more disgusting peanuts but I was safe- I didn't have any smell reactions or eating reactions or touch reactions or any other type of reactions (though I have no idea what other types there are). NOW I AM SAFE NO MATTER WHERE I GO. (even the smelly peanut shop)
I was holding my nose because so many peanut bottles
were open for free samples and it was P.U. And my brothers and dad kept taking the samples!
I was disgusted!

Even though I still don't like the taste of peanuts, since I finished OIT now I am able to go to all the places I want. I've even been to Dunkin' Donuts. I didn't like Dunkin' donuts.

I can also go to whatever restaurant I want! I love restaurants!
At a restaurant on vacation. We didn't even
ask about ingredients!
Take out from a Chinese restaurant! My first time ever!

This restaurant was delicious!
And a month ago I faced my final contestant!
THE 24 PEANUT CHALLENGE!!!
My shirt says 24 peanuts?! Challenge accepted!
Too many peanuts!

And I crushed it!!!
FREEDOM!!!
Now I am completely free.

For the first time ever I was able to go to my cousin's engagement party. I had to skip the last three family events because of my allergy. But now I was able to go! And it was super fun and I got to run around and stuff. With my cousins. (by the way I wasn't in my 2 hours anymore so I was allowed to run around.)

My mom also made me a Peanuts kippah. (not REAL peanuts)
Also since my last big bag of peanuts was finished I got a new much better bag of peanuts. Not Snoopy. Real Peanuts!
But by the way don't think I like them. Because I don't like them. I dose anyway each day. I destroy them with my teeth. My vampirest teeth. My zombie teeth. My giant teeth. My humongous teeth.

After my 24 peanut challenge I was allowed to taste bamba. My parents made me. I didn't want to cuz it smelled like peanut butter. And it tasted like peanut butter. And I hated it! Peanut butter was my arch nemesis. But now it tastes much better. Well it still tastes bad, but it is much better. Because I HAVE A BRAND NEW FLAVOR--- Skippy! And this bamba tastes like the old peanut butter. And I know there's peanut butter in there cuz I watched a video of how bamba is made. It's called 'bamba samba' and I saw peanut butter raining on it!

But one of the better things I tasted was yo crunch yogurt (there were two types, but I only liked one of them. Actually I LOVED the one that I liked.)

Also in the first week of school we did an experiment with a gummy worm and the teacher had extra gummy worms. Lots of them. And she gave one to each person. There were no labels but I was able to eat it anyway because I did OIT. I even ate another gummy worm without a label at my grandparents house. All thanks to those precious doctors at OIT.
I even miss going to see my nurses and doctors each week.
I have to wait 2 months til I get to see them again. Then 6 months.
And I miss them so much!

See ya soon.
I'll be happy to sign autographs.
Bye!

Graduation!!!

A lot has happened since I have last blogged.

I HAVE----- DONE GRADUATIONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!! a few days ago.
My shirt says OIT GRADUATE
Isn't it fun to do the impossible

And guess what happened when I graduated?
What awesome dude?
I have received-------

FREEDOM!!!!!!

So first I did the usualities which means stuff that happened usually.

I do my blood pressure, that finger thingie, that blowie thingie, the stethoscope. The weight and length.

And then afterwards I dosed TWELVE peanuts!
My last up-dose. You 12 peanuts
aint gonna get in the way of
my graduation.

Everyone knows what that means, right?

Graduation! Graduation! Graduation, graduation, graduation!!!!!

They gave me a partipisit. I mean a parstificate. or is it a sparcificate. Oh it's a starsificate. (my mom says it's called a 'certificate' or a diploma). I knew that- that was on the tip of my tongue.

Freedom means Haagen Dazs,
(speechless)

restaurants, ice-cream stores,

birthday parties, play-dates, dunkin donuts. No reading labels. Holidays- no more worrying.

I even went to someone's house this weekend and was able to eat EVERYTHING.

I'm gonna have a graduation party this Sunday with the biggest ice-cream cake that the ice-cream place sells. I have NEVER had ice-cream cake before and I have been waiting for this since before I was born!!!

So now if you want to know about the weeks before graduation and since my last blog post which is 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, I would be happy to tell you.

Yeah tell us boy.

How about I SHOW you with pictures?

Are you ready for this men and ladies of New York City? or from China or Mexico or Brooklyn or Japan or Antartica or Greenland or Canada or Disney or Israel or Iceland etc.

                                                                    I'll crush you!

 My shirt says "chill
I got this". Chill dude,
go to the beach for
relaxation!                                                             "No pain no gain"- even with bumps,
                                                                                             it's worth it!

You should have applesauce
after dosing so you don't get
a stomach-ache.

Next up-dose is graduation!!!

My mom is so annoying, she keep
on examining my skin so I just
pushed her away.

Pep speech: Okay so... it may have taken 9 and a half months. It may have been close to 40 appointments. It may have been hard at times. I may have had to down-dose at times. But don't worry because whatever point you're at you'll get there one day.
The clue is:
NEVER EVER EVER GIVE UP!!!!!

...AND IT BEGINS TO PAY OFF

Since the last time I blogged I kept on up-dosing. Since I up-doseded to 4 peanuts I ate Entenmann's every day because when I got to 4 peanuts I am able to eat 'made in a pacility with peanuts' things. Wait, is it facility?

Here are some of my pictures of up-doses before I was at 4 peanuts. I should not have been smiling yet because I didn't have Entenmann's yet.
                            I will crush you!

But one time when I was dosing at home I choked during dosing by swallowing water the wrong way. Some of the peanuts came back up and to my throat again. For lots of hours after that I was congested afterwards. Since I wasn't congested before dosing my mom called the doctor and the doctor said to get the medicines. Buranel and zircatol?  (My mom said it's actually Benadryl and orapred.) The doctor said it's possible I was having a reaction since the peanuts ended up being in my throat twice- going down and coming back up, instead of just once.

But I will never give up. So here's a video of me saying I can defy gravity in OIT.

So then the following up-dose I only up-dosed half a peanut instead of a full one and I was okay with it because I was still going up to 4 peanuts and 4 peanuts means I can have delicious Entimeins.

I look cool, right?
Ewwwwww.

The next day the partying began and I was nervous I was gonna get fat because I was going to eat all the cakes and all the Entimeins and the whole house into my mouth. These pictures are from the next few days.

This is the video of me enjoying my first crumb top donut!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

It feels like I waited ten million years for this.

That day after I up-dosed I ate kit-kat for the first time. Thumbs down. Kit kat was terrible.

So the day after that I had a big cone of ice-cream and my silly mom watched me eat it for the whole half hour because she was so happy for me. She was staring at me. We could hear a pin drop. The ice cream cone was good!

And the day after that we went to a market and we bought so many things and a type of ice-cream in a cup. It's called Hagindas. (Mom says it's Hagen Dazs.) And it was delicious! I devoured it. I almost ate the container too.

This is the video of me enjoying the Hagen dazs
My school had an end of year carnival and there was an ice-cream truck. My mom had given me permission that I could eat something from the truck that was made in a facility of peanuts, which I couldn't do any of the other years I was at school, but I was sick of ice-cream because I had too much ice-cream stuff lately, so I had a slush and it was the best slush that I ever had. I got the cherry flavor.

Then the next up-dose I went to which I'm on right now was going up to 5 peanuts and yet I didn't get any more freedom at that point because the only freedom before graduation in OIT is at 4 peanuts where I could eat the pacility of peanuts. (Mom says it's facility.)

Before I went to up-dose I saw packing peanuts and since my mom called them peanuts, I pretended to dose with them.

I think you'll taste better than peanuts.

I was happy I updosed to 5 peanuts because 5 is my lucky number.

Just 5 or 6 more up-doses to go until graduation!

Hope you have a good summer. Thanks for your support.

See you soon. Bye.
